Madder Root in the News!

We're featured in today's edition of the Bangor Daily News. Thanks, Emily! We both enjoy sharing all aspects of Madder Root from developing new designs and products to hand drawing screens and sewing to making the many creative and business decisions that go into owning and operating our own business. We're delighted to have this opportunity to get the word out about the work we are doing.

Tea Time: Sourdough Starter

This week, Christina posted the recipe for Sourdough Starter on the Artisans Collective blog. We've already posted a yummy donut recipe as a way to start tapping into that sourdough goodness, but since we've split the starter between us, something tells me there will be more sourdough recipes featured in the near future!

New Design: Pussy Willows

We love rolling out new designs! This week, we're thinking spring! We've discontinued some designs (leaves, queen anne's lace, teasel, sumac and acorns) and added pussy willows. These are printed in oyster grey and are available in tea towels and napkins. We know you'll love these furry little catkins! We have additional new designs and a new product on the drawing board that will be available in the upcoming weeks, so stay tuned!
